bullet

Press 4 to speak to someone in the insurance department.

If you leave a message, please clearly state and spell the patient’s name, a telephone number where you can be reached throughout the day, and the name of your AAHOA physician.  If you want to make an appointment, you may let us know which days and times are convenient.  For prescription refills please follow the directions provided in the message.  Please see the instructions on page 7 for “Diagnostic Tests” if you need information on test results.

Telephone calls are triaged according to urgency.  We will respond to urgent calls regarding medical emergencies as soon as possible.  Non-urgent calls for appointments, prescription refills, etc. will be returned within 24 hours (one business day).

You may contact us by fax to schedule appointments or to request prescription refills, disability letters, records, etc. The fax number is (734) 712-1012. All faxes should include the patient’s name, AAHOA physician, home or work telephone number, and the reason for the request.  Requests for release of records must include the patient’s signature.  Since technical problems may occur when sending or receiving faxes, please contact us if you have not had a reply within 48 hours.

The office is closed on weekends and on all major holidays.  When the office is closed, your call will be forwarded to our answering service. If your call is urgent, the answering service will contact the physician on call. Routine calls such as appointment cancellations should be made during regular office hours.

You may also contact us through our Web site (www.annarborhem-onc.com) to schedule appointments, request disability forms, request refills for non-narcotic prescription drugs, obtain results of routine blood tests (such as prothrombin times/INRs) or ask general questions about office hours, etc.  In order to use the Web site, you must register and obtain a personal identification number.  Information on Web services is available on this site.
